The city centre of Kuala Lumpur boasts of some major buildings that are no longer alien to any. The most famous one would be the Petronas Twin Towers which is currently the second highest building in the world. Owned by Petronas, the national petroleum company, it contains 88 floors with a sky bridge in the middle. At the feet of the Twin Towers is Suria KLCC, an internationally recognised shopping mall. One can find department stores, branded goods, various cuisines, cafes among some. Around the corner, using the same abbreviation is the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. This is a large center that houses a lot of convention halls. From Batik Conventions to Computer and Technology fairs to Peace Seminars are held here periodically where both international and local visitors are present. In the Convention Center one can also find Aquaria, a very impressive world class aquarium open to public.
